Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is currently searching for a dedicated Unit Manager to join our team! Our facilities deliver outstanding care as well as foster strong employee bonds. We offer short-term to long-term care and a variety of living options and professional clinical services. The primary purpose of the Unit Manager is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience and company results. •Daily Pay Available•
Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Schedule nurses' shifts Assign nurses to patients Ensure nursing operational standards are met Provide reports on productivity, quality and customer service metrics Ensure all nurses follow policies and procedures Train new team members Evaluate nurses' performance Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions Handle complaints or other issues Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family and friends Keep records of nurses' files, patients' cases and procedures
Unit Manager Requirements:
Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures Thorough knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare Team management skills Great communication and people skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills BSc or diploma in nursing; training in healthcare administration is a plus Valid nursing license Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
