Biomedical Project Manager Location:
Santa Clara, CA Duration of Contract:
12+
Months Position Summary :
The Biomedical Project Manager oversees planning, coordination, and delivery of projects involving medical devices, clinical technologies, and healthcare operational systems. The role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient implementation of biomedical equipment across Hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management Lead planning, timelines, and execution of biomedical technology projects. Technology Deployment Coordinate installation, integration, and upgrades of medical devices and clinical systems. Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to healthcare safety and regulatory standards. CrossFunctional Coordination Work with clinical staff, IT, Facilities, and vendors to support project goals. Risk & Safety Oversight Identify and mitigate risks related to device reliability and patient safety. Vendor & Budget Management Support procurement, vendor coordination, and budget tracking.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Project Management, or related field. Experience with medical devices, clinical workflows, or healthcare project management. Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, CAPM, or relevant technical certifications. Experience in hospital or large healthcare system environments. Familiarity with clinical information systems and networked medical devices. This position will be responsible for evaluating and implementing Medical Device equipment in a hospital setting. Previous experience with these activities and a medical environment is required.
