This is an advanced professional position responsible for supervision of direct service staff, and training and consultation within a 24/7 patient intake assessment unit. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Program Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field from an accredited college or university. Four (4) to six (6) years of Human Service/Behavioral Health experience. A Master's degree can substitute for two (2) years of related experience. Prefer applicants who are licensed or are licensed eligible. Knowledge of direct services, including relevant DSM 5 diagnosis and symptomology. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, legal documentation, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public. Must have a valid Florida driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Provides direct supervision for the program staff. Supervises and/or coordinates direct service delivery of the reporting unit. Direct supervision of program staff and ensures training compliance. Complete the organization's required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to program monitoring and quality reports. Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies. Attend agency wide, division and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge. Interviews/hires prospective employees and orients them to program. Assume administrative and supervisory duties in the Program Manager's absence. Performs other duties that are similar, related, or is a logical assignment to the job.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services. Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency and department. Completes administrative functions and data entry timely and accurately
WORK ENVIRONMENT
General office and healthcare setting. Most tasks are completed while seated at a desk with standard office equipment. Fast-paced environment. Multi-tasking requires above-average time management skills. Team-oriented approach.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Abilities in reaching, bending, talking, sitting, carrying, standing, grasping, fine hand coordination, the ability to hear, the ability to read and write, and the ability to remain calm under stress. Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to the audience.
