Responsibilities The Oncology Program Coordinator will work collaboratively, with the Director of Oncology Quality and Accreditations and the Medical Director of the assigned disease site, to coordinate program activities in order to achieve and maintain the highest clinical outcomes and a superior patient experience. This person is responsible for development, maintenance, and implementation activities relating to quality improvement and data management, outreach and marketing, clinical practice standards, utilization of support services, etc. The Oncology Program Coordinator designs, implements, and evaluates system-wide program components, as applicable, for each clinical entity within the scope of the assigned oncology program.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field Strong administrative, management, and supervisory experience as evidenced by the candidates ability to: a. Plan, organize, direct, and control activities of an organization, department, or service within or across a hospital or similar entity b. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, providers, and others allied health professional. Minimum (3) years management experience in business or healthcare-related services
Preferred:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing Previous work experience in oncology Physician practice, ambulatory care, surgery, or oncology management experience
Work Hours:
8:00a-4:30p
