Job Description
The Quality Intern supports the Quality Improvement (QI) program by assisting with quality metric monitoring, clinical performance improvement initiatives, population health activities, regulatory compliance efforts, and healthcare data analysis. This internship provides hands-on exposure to healthcare operations, quality management, value-based care, patient-centered medical home (PCMH) principles, and community health center administration. Education Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in: Health Informatics Public Health Healthcare Administration Nursing Health Sciences Business Administration (Healthcare Concentration) Data Analytics Related healthcare field Preferred Qualifications Experience working with healthcare data. Knowledge of healthcare quality measures. Understanding of electronic medical records. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Interest in healthcare quality, operations, or leadership.
