The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program Manager will: Support implementation, coordination, and operational oversight of assigned initiatives within the New Mexico Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program.; Support implementation of the RHT governance structure by managing initiative-level operations, tracking progress against timelines and deliverables, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, and supporting alignment with CMS requirements and State priorities. How does it get done? The Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program Manager is responsible for: Leading day-to-day implementation activities associated with Healthy Horizons and Rooted in New Mexico, including coordination with contractors, subrecipients, providers, state agencies, and external stakeholders; Leading implementation and operational coordination for assigned Rural Health Transformation (RHT) Program initiatives, including Healthy Horizons and Rooted in New Mexico; Monitoring initiative progress, timelines, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges, and elevate issues to PMO leadership as appropriate; Developing implementation materials, operational workflows, status reports, executive briefings, presentations, and stakeholder-facing communications; Coordinating initiative meetings, workgroups, provider engagement activities, and reporting processes; Collaborating with finance, data and evaluation, communications, procurement, and operations staff to support aligned implementation across the RHT Program portfolio; Supporting compliance monitoring, reporting requirements, and long-term sustainability planning for assigned initiatives. Work is performed for the Health Care Authority (HCA), the RHT Program Management Office, providers, contractors, sub-recipients, educational institutions, state agencies, CMS, and program stakeholders to support implementation and coordination of assigned Rural Health Transformation Program initiatives. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in an office setting with extensive use of a computer, phone, virtual meeting platforms, and Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) equipment. Position may require prolonged sitting, coordination of virtual and in-person meetings, review of operational and program documentation, and occasional in-state travel for provider engagement, stakeholder meetings, trainings, or implementation activities.
