Program Manager Provider Onboarding and Retention Position Purpose:
The Program Manager Provider Onboarding& Retention is responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of onboarding and retention programs for physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). This role ensures a seamless transition from hire to practice integration while developing strategies that enhance provider engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention. The Program Manager partners closely with recruitment, credentialing, operations, medical staff leadership, and human resources to deliver a consistent, high-quality provider experience.
Minimum Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, human resources, business administration, or a related field. Masters Degree or equivalent business degree with clinical experience preferred. License /
Certification:
As required by discipline
Experience:
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider onboarding, provider relations, HR, or program management; experience in physician or APP onboarding, retention, or medical staff operations, familiarity with credentialing, licensing, and medical staff processes and experience working in a matrixed healthcare organization Effective communication skills
