A PAS/PHC
Coordinator oversees the delivery of non-medical home care services, ensuring clients receive authorized care in a timely and compliant manner. This role coordinates caregiver schedules, maintains regulatory compliance, and serves as the central point of communication between clients, attendants, and supervisory staff. Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Coverage Coordinate and assign caregivers based on authorized service hours Manage call-offs, shift changes, and emergency coverage Ensure continuous (often 24/7) client care coverage Client & Caregiver Communication Act as the primary liaison between clients, families, caregivers, and field staff Address scheduling issues, service concerns, and care updates Maintain positive and professional relationships Documentation & Compliance Monitor Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) records for accuracy Ensure compliance with state regulations (e.g., HHSC guidelines) Maintain proper documentation of services and incidents Onboarding & Staff Support Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new attendants Provide ongoing support and guidance to caregivers Track staff performance and attendance Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in home care, especially PAS or PHC programs Proficiency in scheduling systems and EVV software Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education may be preferred) Work Environment Home care agencies or healthcare organizations Office-based with frequent communication (phone/email) May involve after-hours or on-call responsibilities Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
