Job Description

Responsibilities The Newborn Care Tech performs hearing screenings on all infants prior to discharge, gathers all information required to create a Kentucky birth certificate, creates a souvenir birth certificate while the family awaits the final birth certificate, educates families about the hearing screening and birth certificates and enters all screening and birth certificate data into the state system. The Newborn Care Tech may be required to work on any of the following campuses: Norton Hospital, Norton Women s Children s, and Norton Children s Hospital.
Qualifications Required:
One year data entry Notary Public - Kentucky Must be obtained within 120 days.
Desired:
One year in a healthcare setting Associate Degree
