Licensed Hearing Implement Specialist Full-Time | Flexible Schedule Lewiston, Maine | Outpatient Setting Help people reconnect with the sounds that matter most at Andwell Health Partners. We're seeking a compassionate, customer-focused Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team and provide exceptional hearing healthcare services. In this rewarding role, you'll help individuals improve their quality of life by evaluating hearing needs, fitting hearing devices, and delivering personalized care throughout their hearing journey. What You'll Do As a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, you will provide comprehensive hearing care while building trusted relationships with patients.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting hearing screenings and assessments within the scope of licensure. Recommending, fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing instruments based on each patient's unique needs. Educating patients and their families on hearing loss, hearing aid use, care, and maintenance. Providing follow-up care, troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing support to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements. Collaborating with audiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Staying current on advancements in hearing technology and best practices. What We're Looking For Current Maine licensure as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (or eligibility for licensure). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care. Experience fitting and programming hearing instruments is preferred. Ability to build lasting relationships with patients while delivering exceptional customer service. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
