This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is flexible and experienced in all aspects of histology.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining Gross cutting of specimens in accordance with established protocols Ensure accurate specimen identification and labeling Maintain quality control and adhere to laboratory safety standards Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory equipment

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician required Proficiency in grossing, embedding, and microtomy is required HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) certification preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Flexible availability for PRN scheduling

PRN/as-needed coverage (hours may vary based on workload and staffing needs)
