Job Description Processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping. They need to know Roche platforms for IHC and special stains. Accessioning all specimens along with other team members. Performing special stains, following protocols. Putting slides together with requisitions - double checking for accuracy. Cutting control slides. Quality control. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Must adhere to all department protocols and procedures. Must be reliable, dependable and have an excellent attendance history. Must be a team player. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related healthcare science field ASCP Certification (HT) or registry Eligible Florida Clinical Laboratory Technician OR Technologist licensed or eligible A Minimum of one year experience in the following: Embedding Cutting Staining Special Stains Troubleshooting
