Histology Tech Laboratory - Frankfort, IN Looking for a rewarding opportunity as a Histology Technician? Join a leading facility in Frankfort, Indiana, where you'll enjoy a consistent day shift schedule, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits. Start on 09/28/2026 with the possibility of extending your contract until 12/28/2026, working 8-hour shifts Tuesday and Wednesday from 07:00 to 15:30.

Experience:
Minimum 1 year in histology; first-timers welcome Pay & Benefits Pay rate: $44.53/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Prepare and process tissue samples including excision specimens, biopsies, and frozen sections Use cryostat and microtome for tissue sectioning Stain slides using Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) and basic dye stains Prepare slides for microscopic examination and coverslip as needed Manage reagents and tissue processing equipment Assist with handling specimens for MOHs procedures and skin cancer cases Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory standards What You Need Current ASCP-HT certification BLS certification Minimum of 1 year tissue processing experience Ability to work 2/3 major holidays Knowledge of cryostat, microtomy, staining, and histology techniques Must be in-state licensed or qualified to work in Indiana (pending license not accepted) About the Assignment Join a supportive team dedicated to quality and accuracy in a busy histology laboratory. This role involves handling a variety of tissue processing procedures, contributing to critical diagnostic work involving skin cancer and MOHs cases within a high-quality clinical environment.
