Job Description
Full-time Mohs Histotechnician Exceptional opportunity to join a growing practice for an experienced Mohs technician. This is a full-time position (hours and days off may vary).
The right candidate will have:
Prior experience in Mohs surgery as a histotechnician. Experience with tissue preparation includes grossing, embedding, and sectioning. Prepare and apply histological stains to tissue samples. Ensure the proper preparation of slides for optimal viewing under a microscope. Work closely with Mohs surgeons to ensure tissue samples are processed quickly and accurately. Maintain accurate records of the samples processed. Maintain organization of laboratory equipment to ensure adequate safety measures. Experience with frozen sections and preparation of slow Mohs cases. Up to date with CLIA standards and protocols.Current schedule:
Monday-Friday:
7:30-4:30 (days and hours may vary)- At full-time status, the employee will be provided with health benefits, significant vacation/sick time.
