  • Med Ai Diagnostics is at the forefront of innovative diagnostic solutions, dedicated to improving patient care through advanced technology and skilled expertise. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Histotechnologist to join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas.
  • Position Overview:
  • As a Histology Lab Technician at Med Ai Diagnostics, you will play a critical role in preparing and analyzing tissue samples for diagnostic purposes.
You will work closely with our pathologists and laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely results that contribute to patient care. If you are committed to excellence and eager to contribute to a collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process tissue specimens for histological analysis.
  • Perform embedding, cryotomy , staining, and mounting of tissue samples.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new techniques and protocols.
  • Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Document and maintain records of procedures and results in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance and control programs to maintain high laboratory standards.
  • Qualifications:
Education:
Required
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred but not
Required:
An Associates or Bachelor degree in Science. Certification as a Histotechnologist or Histotechnician.
  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in laboratory techniques and equipment used in histology.
