The successful candidate will have a current ASCP certification (HT/HTL), or be registry eligible. One year experience with skin specimens and IHC is preferred. Job duties include performing basic histology tasks such as, but not limited to, grossing, processing, embedding, cutting and staining skin specimens at the highest level of quality in an efficient manner, send out testing, and QA/QC tasks. The hours for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday 5am
  • 1:30pm (possibly 4am
  • 12:30).
REQUIREMENTS
  • ASCP certification (HT/HTL) preferred, or registry eligible
  • 2 years histology experience required
  • IHC experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to cut and embed small biopsy specimens efficiently and accurately
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self direction in a fast paced environment
Pay:
$27.00
  • $42.
00 per hour
