Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (HHA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing support at home. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to clients, promoting independence and well-being while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and observe patients closely, noting changes in condition and reporting findings accurately in medical records or electronic health record (EHR) systems. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and ensuring proper infection control practices. Support home & community care initiatives by helping clients maintain independence within their living environments. Requirements Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) are required; additional certifications like HIPAA training are preferred. Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges and provide compassionate dementia or Alzheimer's care. Familiarity with medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and EHR systems. Strong communication skills for accurate medical documentation and collaboration with healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a home setting; live-in employment options available for some roles. Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
