Full Job Description Overview:

We offer patients convenient access to innovative treatments and advancements that improve the health and overall well-being of our community.Responsibilities:
Receives verbal/written assignments from RN/LPN Assists patients with activities of Daily Living Reports any changes in patient condition to RN/LPN Maintains clean and neat stocked areas and patient rooms Cleans equipment between each patient use Operates unit equipment as required Assists with and accompanies patients on admission, discharge, and transfer Answers patient call lights promptly Keeps hallway clear of equipment Distributes water and ice Maintains 24-hour urine collections Performs catheter checks and blood glucose monitoring Takes and records vital signs and weight Records accurate intake and output (to include NG, chest tube, ostomy bags, foley, etc.) Signs/initials documentation Documents patient turns and repositioning Reports any skin condition to RN Assists with completion of daily flow sheet Responds to overhead pages Participates in orientation of new employees as assigned Accesses and accurately maintains electronic and paper medical records Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Regular and prompt attendance Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required Related duties as assignedAdditional Information:
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Required BCLS- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
