Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
• Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Respect and uphold patient rights and confidentiality

Experience:

• Experience in dementia care, hospice care, or working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
• Familiarity with resident rights and first aid protocols is beneficial
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is desirable
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
