New Pathways 4 Life, LLC is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in building independent and successful lives. DSPs work one-on-one with individuals in their homes and communities to teach essential life skills, promote independence, and support personal goals. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others grow and succeed. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities Teach and reinforce independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, household management, and personal organization Assist individuals with accessing community resources, transportation, and appointments Support parents with developmental disabilities in developing safe and nurturing parenting practices Encourage community participation, social engagement, and healthy routines Document progress and complete required service notes and reports Follow individualized service plans and goals established by the Regional Center and the organization Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required Compassionate, patient, and reliable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and responsibly Valid California driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance Ability to pass background clearance and required training Why Work With Us Meaningful work that positively impacts lives Flexible schedules Supportive team environment Training provided Opportunity for growth in the social services field Join New Pathways 4 Life and help individuals build confidence, independence, and stronger futures in their communities.
