We're growing, and we're looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals who want their work to actually matter. This is hands-on, people-first work. You'll be matched with participants and support them one-on-one — in their homes and out in the community — helping them build the skills and confidence to live the life they choose. No two days look the same, and you'll see your impact firsthand. We're a teaching program — apply to help people learn essential life skills and reach their personal goals. What you'll do As a Direct Support Professional / Community Facilitator, you'll work one-on-one with participants, helping them build essential life skills and stay active in their community. Depending on your strengths and availability, you may support participants in the following areas: Community Facilitation (CFS) — meet participants out in the community and assist with daily activities such as medical appointments, grocery shopping, school, and important paperwork (like SSI and SDHC). Independent Living Services (ILS) — teach daily living skills such as household cleaning, shopping, money management, and meal preparation. Tailored Day Services (TDS) — support participants with job searching, education, transportation, and community access skills. You'll also drive from one participant to the next as needed, transport participants to appointments ( mileage reimbursed ), and document each session accurately and on time on the correct forms.
Travel:
This role covers the South Bay . You'll work across areas including Chula Vista and National City, driving between participants as needed. Mileage is reimbursed. $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience (pay may increase after training based on performance)
Schedule:
