Job Description

At Promising Futures, Inc. (PFI), we're passionate about providing quality care to the Developmentally Disabled population. We pride ourselves on delivering the BEST services at our Day Program, Art Studio, and Residential Homes, and that starts with hiring the BEST employees!
Salary Range:
Up to $24.00 per hour for Regular hours worked Up to $36.00 per hour for Overtime hours worked Up to $48.00 per hour for Double time hours worked If you are interested in OT and DT hours, PFI will provide cross-training from Day Program duties and responsibilities to Residential duties and responsibilities. After completing this training, you will be eligible to provide staff coverage at our Residential homes.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:45am to 2:15pm 7:45 to 3:45pm - 1-2 times per month to attend trainings Your responsibilities will include: Engaging in meaningful experiences that cover social, recreational, and community outings. Implementation of all Behavior and person-centered goals as written, maintain client records, document data and charts as required. Ability to provide physical assistance to clients as needed to follow through on Behavioral Intervention Plans, including emergency interventions as instructed in Crisis Intervention and Prevention, i.e. (but not limited to) lifting, escorts, and restraints. Implementing measurable goals based on IDT recommendations and person-centered planning. Tracking and summarizing notes, data, goals, and program documentation. Participating in staff trainings and workshop sessions. Attending to clients' personal needs, including physical assistance. Ensuring client safety, protecting their rights, and upholding their dignity at all times. Here's what you can expect as part of the PFI team: Paid on-the-job training. To join the team you'll need: 18 years or older Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of pre-employment assessments; health, drug, and TB screenings, back evaluation, and background check. One year experience in a BMP center based program or six months experience with a strong desire and willingness to learn are also considered.
