Job Description
Rx Healthcare is a growing organization that serves the Greater Sacramento area and multiple surrounding counties. If you are interested in making a strong community impact, you will enjoy working for our organization! Rx Healthcare is looking for a passionate and flexible home health aide to cover the greater El Dorado Hills area. The HHA would work collaborative and under the directions of a RN, PT, or OT, as well as our Hospice team. Certified Home Health Aide responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate ability read, write, and follow directions.
- Demonstrate ability to work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude.
- Follow the instructions of the professional nurse/therapist in providing care.
- Provide patients with hygiene assistance such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
- Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans).
- Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.
- Report patient complaints to the
RN/PT/OT.
- Maintain patient confidentiality/adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual.
- Possess the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
