About Paramount Care:

Paramount Care USA is a newly expanding branch of London Paramount Care, LLC. This is a family-owned business that specializes in supporting children and individuals with developmental and other co-occurring disabilities. Paramount Care was founded by Jay Handog in 2019 and utilizes a foundation of evidence-based practices that is dedicated to providing personalized care towards an improved quality of life for the individuals and families we are so fortunate to serve. We are actively seeking applicants to join our team. Direct Support Professional A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is part of a team that provides behavior and support services to individuals living in licensed Community Home who have a developmental disability and possible co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Under the direction of the Administrator and management team, position duties may include but are not limited to the following: Support your assigned individuals throughout your entire shift, or as directed by management Model appropriate interactions with all other individuals at all times Implement all planned activities (including meals- in or out, all on-site activities, resident wake-up, body check, transportation, home visits, visitors, and all off-site activities) Collect data and maintain individual records in accordance with individualized goals Assist in dispensing all medications by knowing all medication times and accompany individual to med station to receive medications and immediately verify dispensing of medications Follow lunches and breaks times coordinated by Lead staff Assist with house maintenance and cleanliness Ensure facility is safe, clean, and secure, and all activities continue as scheduled Attend and complete all training requirements Other duties as assigned What we are seeking: Physical capacity for transferring and assisting people who require physical assistance, and bend as needed to assist individuals who require physical assistance High school Diploma, High School Equivalency, GED, or FTE Must complete a background criminal record clearance through DOJ/FBI Complete health and TB screening test (or one completed within the last year) Current drivers license and good driving history is highly desirable At least 6 months prior experience supporting individuals with Developmental Disability, including challenging behaviors is preferred DSP1 and DSP2 preferred What we offer: Pay ranges starting from $19/hour and comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for career advancement Comprehensive initial and ongoing training program consisting of classroom training, online training, and job performance Paid Sick and accrued Time off Medical and 401K for qualifying full-time employees who work at least 30 hours per week or more
