Job Description

We're currently looking for someone to support a young adult with cerebral palsy who is energetic, social, and enjoys being out in the community. This is a one-on-one role where consistency matters. Your presence, your attitude, and your reliability will directly shape this person's daily life. If you're someone who is naturally patient, dependable, and actually likes being engaged with people, this could be a really good fit. Schedule Availability between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. You'll be given a consistent schedule. We do our best to keep hours stable while still respecting time off requests when coverage allows. Pay Starting at $25 per hour, with an increase to $30 per hour after 30 days based on reliability and performance. What the role looks like You'll be supporting daily routines and helping maintain a steady, structured day. This includes assisting with wheelchair mobility and safe transfers, preparing simple meals, and going out into the community for things like church, volunteering, or other activities he enjoys. You'll also help keep his space clean and organized and provide consistent supervision throughout the shift. What we're looking for Someone who shows up on time, stays engaged, and communicates clearly. Being patient and respectful is expected, but just as important is being present and dependable. Requirements You must be able to assist with lifting and transfers for someone who weighs about 90 pounds, with proper training provided. You should be comfortable working in a home with pets, have basic cooking skills, and reliable transportation. Background clearance is required. IHSS enrollment is a plus or willingness to apply( WE
