Community-Based Day Program Pay:
$16.90/hour Make a difference every day by supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in achieving greater independence and community inclusion. As a Direct Support Professional, you'll provide compassionate, person-centered support, assist with individual goals, and help participants engage in meaningful activities throughout the community using agency vehicles. We provide paid training and opportunities to grow while making a positive impact on others' lives. 35-40 hours weekly + optional paid lunch, Monday-Friday. Ability to successfully complete fingerprint clearance. Pass pre-employment drug screening and maintain compliance with the agency's drug-free workplace policy. Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire, if applicable). Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and their families. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently and more than 35 pounds with assistive devices. Ability to frequently bend, squat, twist, sit, stand, and move throughout the workday.
