What You'll Do (DSP I Duties) As a Direct Support Professional, you will support individuals in daily living, personal care, and community participation. Your goal is to help each person live as independently, safely, and joyfully as possible.
Your responsibilities include:
Follow and implement daily routines per the Individual Program Plan (IPP) Assist with bathroom needs and personal hygiene Change undergarments or clothing when necessary Prepare meals and assist with cleanup Provide safe transportation in company vehicles as needed Support health, safety, and well-being at all times Advocate for individuals and promote their independence and quality of life. Required Education & Experience DSP Year 1 Certifications (per Title 17) First Aid / CPR CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification - we can provide Must be at least 21 years old Valid California Driver's License Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
