$35 PER
VISIT AND EACH VISIT LAST FOR LESS THAN 1 HOUR.
In this vital role, you will assist individuals with their daily activities, monitor health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help improve the quality of life for those in need of support, fostering independence and dignity within their homes. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Observe and document patient conditions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless medical documentation Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols, ensuring safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral support Assist with catheter care, wound dressing changes, and hospice care needs as required Support clients' nutritional needs by preparing meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Use medical terminology proficiently to communicate effectively with healthcare teams and document patient progress clearly Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing client spaces Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred Demonstrated experience providing home health or community-based care for individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs monitoring is essential Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to deliver personalized care Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record-keeping and documentation CPR certification is required; additional certifications such as hospice care training or catheter care are a plus Previous live-in employment experience or long-term caregiving roles are advantageous Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
