Job Description
Home Health Aide & Caregiver As a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Your compassionate approach and dedication to patient care will empower clients to maintain their independence while receiving the support they require. You'll be at the heart of our mission, providing essential services that promote health, comfort, and well-being in a home setting. What you'll do Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records and compliance with health regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with catheter care when necessary. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to maintain up-to-date patient information. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living space. Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts to ensure safe mobility for clients. Basic qualifications Strong observational skills to monitor changes in patient conditions effectively. Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred Preferred qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with in home care or in hospice care.
