Full Job Description Direct Support Professional Pay:
$23.85 per hour
Hours:
8AM-3PM, Monday through
Friday Type:
Full-time Location:
San Diego, 92119 Day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting with daily living tasks. Cleaning, cooking etc. Volunteering twice a week Attending Music Therapy weekly Attending Speech Therapy weekly Attending communication training weekly Transporting individuals in the community using your own vehicle — appointments and volunteer activities Building trusted, consistent relationships with the person you support Requirements Genuine empathy and patience Good verbal and written communication skills Reliable and punctual Experience working with individuals who experience autism (preferred) Experience working with behaviors (preferred) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid US driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance Building trusted, consistent relationships with the person you support
