Empowerment For Success (EFS) is a human services organization that supports people with intellectual disabilities, including autism, cerebral palsy, and other substantially disabling conditions closely related to intellectual disabilities. We provide person-centered services and support to enable people to live in their own homes and make choices about how they live. We seek to hire people who care and want to make a difference in others' lives. Position Details Looking for an experienced Direct Support Professional ( DSP) 8:30a -2:30p .
Daily tasks may include:
Accommpany participants to activities (volunteering at Food Bank and Meals on Wheels. Support participants in learning life-skills Lead and participate in Morning Movement Lead and participate in bi-monthly cooking classes for participants Skills and Requirements 3-12 months of experience working with individuals diagnosed with an intellectual disability. High level of accountability and dependability. Comfortable with providing personal caregiving. Must complete a Live-Scan DOJ background check and consent to a DMV driving record pull. Positive attitude and open to learn. High School Diploma Access to a safe and reliable vehicle.
