Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, energetic and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in home setting and occasionally outdoors. This vital role involves assisting client with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting and maintaining a warm, respectful, and positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be energetic, bilingual, Spanish /English detail-oriented, have great knowledge in writing, reliable, have reliable transportation and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Paid position is available for part-time applicants eager to make a meaningful difference.

Hour position:

Monday - Sunday 4 hrs a day, 121 hrs split hours. Two PCA's will be assigned .

Duties Services Include:

Non-Medical Care services Care for Consumer hours that the regional center authorizes Care is provided in the Consumer's home Care is provided with guardian at the home Family or Consumer must inform 24 Hour Home Care if there is a change in care or care provider Hours must be entered on E-Timesheets on a bi-weekly basis, by the 1st and 16' of every month When reporting hours, they must be broken down by service Scheduling and utilizing up to the number of hours authorized by the Regional Center Supervision Standby assistance Companionship Communication assistance Written assistant Feeding assistant Organizing light cleaning able to work under noise Going out for walks more information when you get hire (Verbal/Non-Verbal, ASL) Personal Care that includes: Potty Toileting assistance Diapering Bathing and dressing The family must provide gloves if the provider will be assisting with Personal Care Providers must always wear face Masks during services Medication reminders Meal Preparation for Consumer Light Housekeeping for the Consumer includes but is not limited to: Light dusting Sweeping Vacuuming Washing dishes Taking out the trash Laundry assistance Helping with typing on laptop Engaging in conversations Encouraging exercise Assistant taking pictures, Feeding more details as you start Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs effectively Training or certification in CPR and First Aid to respond confidently during emergencies Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams, residents' families, and other caregivers Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Demonstrated compassion for seniors and individuals with disabilities; patience and active listening skills are essential Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently Join us in making a positive impact on lives every day!
