Foundation for Successful Living is looking for compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) as they build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connections. Every day is different! You might be volunteering alongside clients, visiting local parks or community events, practicing life skills, or helping someone achieve a personal goal. What You'll Do Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings Teach and encourage life skills, social skills, and independence Help clients participate in volunteer opportunities, recreation, and community activities based on their interests Safely transport clients to and from community activities using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Maintain appropriate supervision and ensure client safety at all times Complete documentation and report incidents promptly Follow each individual's support plan, agency policies, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements What We're Looking For At least 18 years of age Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team Comfortable being physically active throughout the day, including bending, lifting mobility equipment, and assisting with transfers when needed Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire (we'll pay for you to get certified if needed) Why You'll Love Working Here Meaningful work that makes a difference every day Paid training—no experience required Flexible part-time schedule Mileage reimbursement Supportive team environment Opportunities to build lasting relationships while helping others achieve greater independence Schedule Monday-Friday | 8:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m. Must be available to work at least 3 days per week If you're looking for a job where you can positively impact someone's life every day, we'd love to hear from you!
