Continuum of Colorado is seeking Caregivers for our meaningful Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions in the Aurora Metro, CO area . A caregiver will get to interact with a variety of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential settings, implement care plans, and help our individuals with daily activities and transporting them to community activities. Looking for another perk? Work full-time at 3 days/week, Wednesday-Friday! Our shifts at this home offer an excellent work/life balance. We currently have a variety of 12 hour shifts available. Additionally, we have need for substitute positions to fill in at various locations within the Aurora/Denver/Castle Rock areas. Requirements of Caregivers High school diploma or GED One (1) year experience in an area directly related to job, preferred (i.e., developmental disabilities, elderly) Be able to pass and maintain certification in all agency required training Perform personal care/medical procedures and consistently lift up to 50 lbs Ability to read, write and converse in English and perform simple math calculations Know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) at an intermediate level; ability to use Outlook to communicate through email Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work Valid Colorado driver's license; proof of insurance; 3 years of current, consecutive driving history Must meet driving requirements: no suspensions/revocations in the past three (3) years and no more than two (2) tickets in the past three (3) years We are committed to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our organization and our partnership with the IDD community.
