• Accrued sick time • 401(k) Full Job Description A Physicians Home Care (APHC) is a locally owned business in Colorado Springs that was started by a family of a Special Needs child who is now an adult. We were founded in 2017 in hopes to be able to provide the best possible care to those who need in-home assistance. Our motto is where everyone is treated as family and our main goals are to give back and help others. We have had the pleasure of helping over 900 families and are licensed by the state of Colorado to provide In Home Support Services (IHSS) as well as Accredited by the state and ACHC to provide CNA, Skilled Nursing, and Therapy Services. We are seeking compassionate and dependable Respite Caregivers to provide in-home support services for individuals with disabilities, and clients requiring assistance with daily living activities. This role provides temporary relief for family caregivers while ensuring clients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care in their homes. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about helping others maintain independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Monitor client safety and report changes in condition Provide mobility and transfer assistance Follow individualized care plans Maintain accurate daily care documentation Follow the care plan responsibilities and tasks Maintain a clean work environment Immediately report to the agency any client incidents/variance or complaints, or any other important changes with the client. Qualifications Minimum 1 year caregiving, home health, CNA, or DSP experience preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 75 pounds A Physicians Home Care is an equal opportunity employer
