Job Description

Locations:
Multiple Locations In Tolland County-- Pay:
Starting at $18.46/hour, with increases per union contract We believe people with disabilities deserve more than care, they deserve a real life: good relationships, real choices, a place in their community. As a DSP, you're the person who helps someone start their day, get where they're going, and have a good day, every day. We're hiring full-time, part-time, and per diem, all shifts including overnight. What you'll do: Help someone get dressed, make breakfast, or get ready for the day Go along to appointments, errands, or activities in the community Give medications and follow care plans, with training and nursing support Step in calmly if something unexpected happens What we offer: Health insurance, including dental, for eligible positions Union pension, fully employer-paid Paid time off Flexible scheduling across all shifts What you need: Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent Standard pre-employment screening (physical, TB test) CPR and medication certification provided through training Some people come to this with years of experience.
