In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health and well-being, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing valuable skills in patient care and support. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, documenting findings accurately Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Assist with patient transportation within facilities or community outings using appropriate transportation methods Follow established care plans diligently, including patient monitoring, documentation, and communication with healthcare teams Skill Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Proficiency in assisting with ADLs such as personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and mobility support Knowledge of care plans development and implementation tailored to individual needs Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations through first aid and CPR certification
Pay:
$17.25 - $17.50 per hour
