This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those experiencing memory loss. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to delivering personalized care that promotes independence and well-being. All positions are paid roles that emphasize the importance of quality caregiving and professional growth. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote healthy living Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper timing and dosage as outlined in care plans Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document care activities thoroughly in accordance with facility policies and assist in updating individualized care plans regularly Provide emotional support through active listening, companionship, and engaging activities that foster social interaction and mental stimulation Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care strategies, and hospice or palliative care practices Hands-on experience assisting with complex medical needs such as medication management, patient monitoring, vital signs collection, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Familiarity with safety protocols including CPR certification, first aid training, heavy lifting techniques, and use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Proven ability to work effectively within care teams while adhering to HIPAA privacy standards and maintaining confidentiality at all times Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions requiring specialized attention such as Alzheimer's or dementia-related memory issues Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to delivering personalized patient-centered care Join us if you're eager to bring your energy and expertise into a rewarding role that truly makes a difference.
