Personal Care Assistant Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate Live-In Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others through personalized assistance and companionship.

Schedule:

The selected candidate will work on Monday & Friday in Southington, CT and on Saturday & Sunday in Chester, CT.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide personalized personal care assistance to individuals, including bathing, grooming, and dressing Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of each individual Support individuals with meal preparation, feeding, and adherence to dietary requirements Aid in medication management by ensuring correct dosage and timely administration Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment. Light housing keeping may include; washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms (ensuring toilets are clean), light laundry, cleaning tables and counters-removing any clutter. Other cleaning tasks as needed Engage individuals in meaningful activities and provide companionship Monitor and document any changes in the individual's condition or needs, reporting to the appropriate supervisor Run Errands and take to appointments as needed Other Duties as assigned (based on client need)

Requirements:

Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Patience and empathy when assisting individuals with physical or cognitive limitations Capacity to maintain confidentiality and respect individual privacy

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN INSURED VEHICLE

(must be able to provide proof) 1-2 years of prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant required .
