Wolcott, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18.00 - $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Paid orientation Qualifications CPR Certification Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Direct support Full Job Description Waters Well Inc. — Direct Support Professional (DSP), Individualized Day Program Drop-Off Center Join a caring, mission-driven team supporting individuals with Autism and behavioral health needs. We provide individualized in-home and day supports, including DDS-supported services, focused on dignity, skill-building, and community inclusion. What you'll do Provide person-centered support to individuals with Autism and behavioral health needs in home and day program settings. Support daily living skills, social and communication goals, and community participation. Implement individualized support plans and follow behavioral support strategies. Promote safety, respect, and choice while documenting services accurately and on time. Communicate professionally with individuals, families, and team members.
Schedule Typical hours:
9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, weekday shifts (Mon-Fri) for day supports. Roles may include in-home supports (hours varied). Day program activities, and individualized DDS supports. What we're looking for 21 years or older. High School Diploma or GED. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. CPR and First Aid certification. (If you're not yet certified, we can provide training.) PMT-certified is a plus. (Training can be arranged if needed.) Caring, compassionate, and dependable with strong communication skills. Experience supporting individuals with Autism and/or behavioral health needs is a plus. Why Waters Well Inc. Supportive team with paid training opportunities.
