Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes to healthcare teams promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals, assist with meal consumption, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas and residents' rooms Support residents during community outings or personal transportation needs while ensuring safety and comfort Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR certification, and emergency response procedures Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities support Ability to observe patients carefully for changes in condition or behavior; strong patient monitoring skills Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Strong caregiving skills including assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations through first aid and CPR training Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those requiring long-term care support in home & community settings Join us in making a positive impact!
