Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental, or behavioral health challenges Valid driver s license and required driving record CPR and First Aid certification Ability to successfully complete required organizational, regulatory, and program training Ability to pass required background check and drug screening Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong judgment, problem-solving, organization, and time-management skills Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office, electronic documentation, and time-recording applications Preferred Prior Direct Support Professional experience in an IDD residential setting Experience mentoring, training, or providing guidance to Direct Support Professionals Knowledge of trauma-informed care Experience with residential documentation, medication records, ISPs, and regulatory compliance Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Schedule Full-Time Schedule flexibility required based on residential program needs Evening and weekend availability may be required Schedule and work location may change based on business and individual needs Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, twist, and climb stairs as required Ability to lift 50 pounds or more as required by the position Ability to drive and provide transportation as needed Ability to assist and supervise individuals safely within residential and community environments Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation Apply Today Some jobs pay the bills.
