  • $17 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications CPR Certification Certified Home Health Aide BLS Certification Assisting with ADLs Clinical documentation Home health Bathing assistance Full Job Description The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and supportive services to clients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
The HHA assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting patient safety, comfort, and independence in accordance with agency policies and Florida home health regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Personal Care Services Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Provide toileting and incontinence care Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Support feeding and hydration as needed 2. Supportive Services Perform light housekeeping related to patient care Assist with meal preparation Provide companionship and supervision Observe and report changes in patient condition 3. Documentation Record care provided and patient observations accurately Submit documentation within required timeframe Report concerns promptly to supervising RN 4. Safety & Compliance Follow infection control procedures Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA) Adhere to agency policies and care plans Participate in required in-service training Qualifications Valid Florida Home Health Aide certification (75-hour training or equivalent) CPR certification Level 2 background screening (Florida requirement) Skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach Strong communication skills Ability to follow care plans Reliability and professionalism Performance Expectations Timely documentation Compliance with care plan Patient satisfaction Attendance and reliability Preferred Qualifications 1
