Shifts Available :
Morning Shift:
Monday-Saturday:
6AM-8AM or 7AM-9AM (12 hours)
Evening Shift:
Monday-Saturday:
6PM-8PM (12 hours)
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their home or assisted living facility.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
  • Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Complete required medical documentation accurately and timely.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or home care preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
  • Ability to lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality.
