Pay:

$16.00•$18.50 per hour (based on experience)

Full-time (18 hours per week) Job Description We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and active individual to provide Companion Services for a male client. This role is focused on providing non-medical care, supervision, and socialization to help the client achieve personal goals and remain active in the community. This is a full-time position (18 hours/week) for someone who enjoys engaging with others and helping them navigate daily life with dignity and independence. Key Responsibilities Looking for someone to take our male client out in the community. We are looking for someone willing to : Take client to the gym, play basketball, attend stretching classes, movies , outdoor activities such as hiking, bowling and volunteer work.

Community Integration:

Accompany the client to community-based activities, local outings, and appointments.

Socialization:

Provide meaningful companionship through conversation, shared hobbies, and recreational activities.

Daily Support:

Assist with non-medical tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry incidental to the client's care.

Goal Tracking:

Assist the client in working toward specific outcomes outlined in their support plan.

Requirements Reliable Transportation:

Must have a dependable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.

Background Screening:

Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening (APD/AHCA compliant).

Experience:

Previous experience as a Direct Service Provider (DSP) or working with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) is strongly preferred.

Certifications:

Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain them promptly).

Personal Traits:

Must be patient, punctual, and able to maintain professional boundaries while building a supportive relationship. Schedule 40 hours per week. Daytime/Early evening hours (typically ending before 8:00 PM). No late-night shifts (consistent with client preferences). Benefits Stable, consistent 40-hour work week.
