is a full-service Group Home service provider in the Poinciana, FL area. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals to provide high quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I.D.D.)and their families. Responsibilities Support individuals by providing assistance in activities of daily living (bathroom, eating, bathing, dressing, etc.) Provide companionship and positive reinforcement Report to the supervisor any unusual or unusual behaviors Follow all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to the job Maintain accurate documentation of each client's experiences and documents for evidence of abuse, neglect, or developmental disabilities. Develop and maintain a professional image and relationship with clients, families, and personnel Some cooking and cleaning will be required Skills Ability to communicate effectively with others in the service setting Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff Ability to maintain an active criminal record in accordance with state and federal laws
