Requirements:
Active Florida Home Health Certificate from the Florida Department of Education or Florida Board of Nursing approved program At least one year of home care experience preferred Valid Driver's License or Photo ID Level 2 background screening with ACHA fingerprints is done by employer Employer requires that a Physical taken within the past (6) months that states free of all communicable diseases
HIV/AIDS
certificate (minimum 1-hour) Alzheimer's certificate (minimum 3-hours) 2 hours of assistance with self-administration of medication training Current CPR (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, American Safety & Health Institute programs only) Auto registration and auto insurance if providing transportation
HHA, 4-8-12
hour shifts available in Brevard County areas. Days, Evenings, Nights, and Weekends. Live-In opportunities available. Specific Responsibilities of a (HHA) Home Health Aide within the
Home Care Setting:
Alzheimer's & Dementia care Monitoring diet Medication reminders Dressing Toileting Mobility support and ambulation or walking Hygiene Grooming Bathing physical assistance Assistance with eating Help with activities of daily living or ADL's Companionship Light housekeeping Errands and incidental transportation -
