A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.
Blessed Lives Corp is seeking a calm, patient, dependable, and caring bilingual Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home supervision, companionship, and support to a young person with autism. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. The caregiver must communicate in English with the young person and in Spanish with his mother.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide respectful one-on-one supervision, companionship, and in-home support. Assist the young person with approved daily routines and activities. Maintain a calm, safe, organized, and structured environment. Promote the young person's comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. Participate with him in appropriate recreational and daily living activities. Provide encouragement and emotional support throughout the assigned shift. Follow instructions provided by his mother and Blessed Lives Corp. Communicate in English with the young person. Communicate in Spanish with his mother. Maintain clear and professional communication with the family and agency. Observe and promptly report any changes, concerns, or incidents. Complete all required service documentation accurately and on time. Arrive punctually and remain available for the entire assigned shift.
REQUIREMENTS
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. Current Home Health Aide certificate or credential. All required documents, certifications, and training must be current. Previous experience supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or special needs is preferred. Must be calm, gentle, patient, dependable, respectful, and caring. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to follow instructions and maintain a calm and structured routine. Commitment to the young person's safety, dignity, comfort, and well-being. Reliable transportation to Kendall, FL 33156. Availability to work 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Availability for a morning or afternoon shift once the fixed schedule is established. Must be able to commit consistently to the assigned schedule.
