Full Job Description Overview:
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist with patient care in a home health setting.
Position Details:
Schedule:
20 hours per week
Requirements:
Fluent in English or Spanish Valid HHA certification CPR certification Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualities:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently Experience with behavioral health
Responsibilities:
  • Assist client with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Complete medical documentation accurately and timely
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with nursing home, assisted living, or home healthcare settings
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
  • Ability to follow instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
