Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to assist with patient care in a home health setting.Position Details:
Schedule:
20 hours per weekRequirements:
Fluent in English or Spanish Valid HHA certification CPR certification Reliable transportationPreferred Qualities:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently Experience with behavioral healthResponsibilities:
- Assist client with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Complete medical documentation accurately and timely
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Skills:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Familiarity with nursing home, assisted living, or home healthcare settings
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Ability to follow instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
