Job Description

Postnatal Maternity Support Location:
Miami, Florida Start Date:
November 2026 - approximately 6 weeks post C-section (exact dates TBC)
Schedule:
6 days per week, with the option to work 7 days for candidates who have the appetite for additional hours
Hours:
10-12 hours per day
Rate:
$65-$85 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience We are looking for an experienced postnatal professional to join a private family in Miami following the arrival of newborn twins. You will join the family approximately six weeks after Mum's planned C-section, with your primary focus being Mum and her continued postnatal recovery. You will work closely with Mum to understand what support she needs each day, helping her to recover comfortably and regain her independence at her own pace. This will include practical support with mobility, washing, dressing and general personal care. Where required, and within your professional scope, you may also assist with C-section wound assessment, cleaning and dressing changes. This is very much a role where you will need to read the situation and adapt. Some days Mum may require more hands-on support, while on others you will simply be there to make her recovery as comfortable and straightforward as possible. When Mum doesn't require your direct support, you will work alongside the family's existing rota team caring for the twins, stepping in as an additional pair of hands and helping wherever needed. You will ideally come from a nursing, midwifery or relevant clinical background, with previous experience supporting mothers following C-section deliveries. Just as importantly, you will be warm, discreet and reassuring, and comfortable working collaboratively within an established team.
